APEDA certificate is mandatory for export of scheduled agricultural products. The exporters of scheduled products are required to be registered under APEDA. APEDA provides financial support, information and guidelines for the development of scheduled products.
The cost of the APEDA registration process is Rs. 5000/- (excluding taxes).
If you are producing agri-products or is associated with any producer and want to export these products, then it is mandatory to get yourself registered under APEDA.
It will take 12-15 business days to allocate APEDA registration, once all documents are submitted.
It is valid for a period of 5 years and then needs to be renewed by APEDA authority.
Yes, APEDA registration can be canceled in the following scenarios. If any discrepancies or false information is found in the submitted documents. If the exporter does not deliver any product within 12 months from the date of registration. If any other kind of discrepancy or malicious practice identified. Breach of any rule or condition that is imposed by certifying authority.

Registration Cum Membership certification is a membership certificate issued by Export promotional councils or the commodity board of India. Any specific exporter is registered with the council under this certificate.e
